Tea time with Mommy

Pre-T
Yesterday Mommy and I went to tea at the Park Hyatt Hotel.  We went to the Tea Cellar, that is the name of the restaurant.  We sat in a glass box, the same glass box Mommy sat in with Aprelle and Elisabeth.  It was like sitting in a fish bowl.

Mommy and I got a performance tea, it was call Extreme Performance Tea.  We also got a 1999 Pu-Erh Wild Rose Tea.  It was good with sugar and the performance tea was good with honey. There were pastries like Lemon Meringue Tart, Pear Frangipane Tart, Chocolate Pudding Cake, and Vanilla Bean Custard with Apricot Compote.  They were all really good.

Mommy and I also got some finger sandwiches.  There were Watercress and Creme Fraiche, Artesian Smoked Salmon, and Cucumber and Dill.  Mommy and I both got those.  Mommy also got the Poached  Chicken and Boursin Cheese and the Tomatoes and Brie Cheese sandwiches.

I would like to go back there with Grandma.  I think she would like it because she likes tea, just like I do.

Good-bye dinner

YesterdayMommy, Daddy, Aidanand I went for dinner with Aprelle, Rick, Sydney, Jilland Adam.  We went to Rio Grande.  Daddy and I went a little late but Mommy and Aidan went before us.  We got chips, salsa, and guacamole for appetizers.  We had to pass the guacamole around the table.  Sydney liked the guacamole.  For dinner, I got a beef enchilada, so did Sydney and Aidan.  They were really good.   Mommy and Daddy got chicken enchiladas, Aprelle got flautas, Rick got shrimp wrapped  in bacon, and Jill got a cheese and onion enchilada.  I don't know what Adam got.  Sydney liked her dinner too.  For dessert I got a pumpkin flan.  It was really good.  Aprelle got sopapillas for all of us for dessert.  There were no sopapillas left.   Mommy, Aprelle, and Jill had swirls with flamingos.  I got to keep the flamingos.  We all walked home together.

Special Time with Mommy

Yesterday Mommy and I had special time.  We went to Shiki Sushi.  It is a restaurant in the Ballston Mall.   We had calamari tempura rings  for the appetizer.  I had  tuna rolls and squid for dinner and mommy had dynamite rolls.  Dynamite roll are crab, avocado, and tempura flake sushi topped with baked scallops, scallion, mayo, and sweet soy.  It was really good.  The people who work there are really happy.

After dinner we went for ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery.  I got Strawberry Banana Rendezvous ice cream, in a waffle cone, dipped in chocolate with chocolate sprinkles.  It has strawberries, bananas, white chocolate chips and graham cracker pie crust crumbs.  It was really good.  Mommy shared it with me.   Then we went home.
